In the world of social media, it is natural to edit and refine the pictures we present to the world, literally and metaphorically speaking.
Authenticity and vulnerability are scary and yet it is the only true way to connect in a meaningful way. I am a truth teller by nature but have spent more than a few nights fretting over something I posted. Was I too edgy, did I expose too much, will my words offend and create a backlash of un-likes?
I was raised to be a good girl, but it has been limiting and time consuming. Even energy sucking.
My husband and partner of 44 years, Alan, died in October of 2020 and I have stepped into a new room with more responsibility. I am learning the lessons of grief and moment by moment, stepping into my own singular power. It is scary and all new, but here I go continuing to share our work and creating something new.
Will you join me on this journey of transformation, that has captured us, whether we feel ready or not? We are all being called to do something outside of our comfort zone, there’s no denying.
For those of you who resonate with my “Women and the Hourglass” series:
Now is the time to make waves.
Now is the time to love yourself more than you ever thought possible and open your heart to speak the truth.
Now is the time to wake up to the ways you have been limiting yourself and holding back.
Now is the time to be yourself.
Turn the hourglass over and begin with a fresh new start.
I am right here with you.
And we are worthy.
Yes, we are.
And so we go…with love
Turning the Hourglass over.
